Meet Our Team

Eyelecture.com was conceptualized by Dr. Anurag Shrivastava in 2017, while serving as the Residency Program Director for the Ophthalmology Program at the Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY.  Initial funding for the development of the educational resource was provided by the Allergan Foundation, whose mission is to promote access to quality healthcare and improving patient diagnosis, treatment, care and quality of life.  An alignment of the Montefiore educational mission, with recognition of the impact of resident training on patient care, has driven the development of this not for profit  resource.

Together with Diego Fiorentin, and the IT team at Squadability, the current beta version of the  eyelecture.com was developed in multiple phases over the past 2 years.  Sally Park, Research fellow and MSIII at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine  joined the team in 2019, and has been quintessential in  the implementation of the current version. Sally will be a member of future launches as the portal continues the next phase of development.
